Last Breath

In my artistic exploration, I aimed to craft a symbol reflecting the intertwining nature of life and death—the eternal cycle where one cant thrive without the other. I sought to illustrate the profound truth that amidst decay, life flourishes anew. Recognizing that our society often shies away from discussing death, viewing it through lenses of fear and uncertainty, I endeavored to challenge these norms. Through my work, I aimed to illuminate the inherent beauty and continuity of life, demonstrating that death is not an end but rather a vital part of the perpetual existence of our world.

Loss Of Hope

During my observations, I've been struck by the presence of homelessness in our community. Conducting some independent research, I found it imperative to highlight the plight of individuals who often endure societal neglect. The words surrounding this issue—'Human', 'misjudged', 'out of hope', and 'no housing'—resonate to the depth of their circumstances. According to recent data, the recorded number of individuals experiencing homelessness in the United States stands at 653,104.

Beneath The Surface

In light of humanity's persistent littering habits and the continued use of environmentally harmful products, I've been inspired to create a piece centered around the ocean, which tragically serves as a major repository for our waste. This artwork aims to draw attention to the urgent need for environmental stewardship and the protection of our oceans. (currently in an art show)

Heart & Soul

I sought to capture the profound connection humans forge with animals, often imbuing them with human-like qualities. Drawing inspiration from a poignant moment captured in one of the final photographs of myself alongside my horse, who passed away a year ago, this piece explores the depth of companionship and the emotional bonds that transcend species boundaries.

Dissociation

Drawing from my personal experiences, I aimed to convey the sensation of dissociation that arises when life becomes chaotic and diverges from the structured routines ingrained in society. Inspired by a universal activity we all engage in at least twice a day, this artwork seeks to evoke the disorienting feeling of disconnect and fragmentation that can accompany moments of upheaval and discord in our lives.

Boardwalk

During my exploration of the town, I encountered a scene on the pier that starkly depicted the intersection of urban life and nature. Amidst the serene backdrop of the ocean, I observed a cigarette butt discard(far left), a pipe, and a buoy. Yet, what stood out most was the prominent sign cautioning against feeding the birds. This picture serves as a poignant reminder of the intrusion of human artifacts into natural environments and underscores the imperative to consider the consequences of our urban presence on the delicate balance of ecosystems.

Lifestyle

I aimed to capture the beauty of our city but also a reminder of population and urban life's impact on our world. Through this piece, I sought to showcase the dynamic tapestry of our cityscape, where red roofed buildings, and bustling activity converge against a backdrop of urban infrastructure and natural beauty.
